Writing updates and a Happy post-Halloween

Hello readers. So it is a sad day. We are now in November and while that puts Christmas right around the corner (a close second on my favorite holiday list) fall foliage is gone here in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and while I'll still likely be watching scary movies and reading scary books at night, it won't quite hit the same. But, that's okay. There is a lot to reflect on and tell you all about now.

First, WOW, October was a busy month for me in terms of author events and writing. Shout out to Gibson's Bookstore in Concord, NH; The Bookery in Manchester, NH; Barnes and Noble in Manchester, NH; Tatnuck Booksellers in Westborough, MA; and of course, The Dark Woods in Milford, NH, where I was welcomed on three separate occasions (hoping to make this a regular event once or twice a year at least). If you came to The Dark Woods you likely saw my son, Wyatt, and my fiancé, Jamie on one of the nights. If you haven't heard of The Dark Woods, they are a haunted attraction with plenty of jump scares and dark humor. I went through twice, myself. If you've got nothing to do this weekend (11/1-11/2) it is their final weekend of the year. Check them out here and plan your trip this weekend or next year. While I'm still promoting Isolation and sending Beyond the Autumn Leaves out to agents, if you aren't following my social media accounts, I welcome you to do so. Lastly, an update on some writing. In the past I've mentioned my genre-bending Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Horror novel that I have been working on. It will be part of a trilogy and I'm anticipating it to be much longer than my previous works. It now has a working title that I am very proud to announce, though it is subject to change should I feel it needs it. The title is In the Shadow of Arena's Tear: A Dramizan Tale. Perhaps this title has sparked a few questions for you. If so, please comment and I'll disclose whatever I can.

While this novel is going well, I've had a bit of trouble with the timeline and so, with the help of my wonderful fiancé, I am going through what I have written to better organize it and make sure the story flows perfectly. My expectation is that In the Shadow... and Beyond the Autumn Leaves (along with my short story Cody) will be released in 2025. It seems like a lot, yes? Well, let me add one more thing to the mix.

I have been working on another horror novel that I have tentatively titled Harry that I am also hoping to release in 2025. This story is based on a camp "legend" that I experienced as a kid while I was going to summer camp with my longest known friend. I don't want to give too much away yet but let's just say, he's known for his hatchet.

So, as you can see, 2025 should be a huge year for me. If you enjoyed reading Isolation I hope these titles have you anxiously awaiting their release, as well. If you haven't read Isolation yet, you can order it directly from me (autograph included) from this very website. Or, if you choose, your local bookstore can order it for you as well. That is any bookstore from Barnes and Noble to your local indie bookstore, Amazon, or anywhere else. If you're a true lover of Isolation please check out the mugs that I have created as well. I ordered one and think they came out fantastic. I'll be trial running some other merchandise next year.

Once again, thank you all for reading and spreading the word about Isolation and myself. I'll talk to you all soon.

Happy post-Halloween/Early Christmas!
